We’re very excited about the new App Home Page functionality just released. It elevates QuickBase to the next level of enterprise information solution, and makes your apps much richer, more powerful and more valuable. While we also like the new QuickBase Exchange, email enhancements, and international features, the new App Home Pages deserve highlighting here.
The new App Home Pages have simple drag-and-drop functionality that allow you to place elements (6 kinds of widgets!) exactly where you want them and create more robust, role-specific Dashboards. Now there is room for additional QuickBase reports and charts on your apps’ Home Pages, as well as iframes for web links and pages outside QuickBase (think web portal).
So easy to create and use! To create: just create a new Home Page in your app Settings, and you’ll see the new drag-and-drop tools to build it. Then disable or delete your old home page.
There is also a great new report type, Map Reports, that automatically Google maps your data with dynamic pop-up and drill-down capabilities. This report uses a new Address field type like the single address field Google Maps utilizes, making it even easier to create, keep and search addresses in your QuickBases.
